In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, may the peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and companions. On behalf of myself and my colleagues, I would like to welcome our website visitors, hoping that its pages will provide you with the information you need on the Management Sciences Department.
Within the PNU framework to establish comprehensive strategies to develop its academic program, and firmly believing in the importance of keeping abreast with international development in the field of Management Sciences, an agreement was signed with Valencia College from the US to establish the PNU Community College, and develop the academic plans for all programs of the department (Business Administration, Marketing, and Office Management). The goal of the college is to develop and serve the community by the graduation of qualified cadres capable of fulfilling labor market needs. As one of 1,200 community colleges in the USA, Valencia College is ranked first and was awarded the Aspen Award. In 2011, it also ranked fourth among the colleges and universities that offer Associate Degrees.
Also believing in the importance of opening new specializations that fulfill the needs of the labor market, an academic plan is currently being prepared for a fourth program in the department; Accounting Techniques. The program is expected to start as of the second semester of academic year 1435/1436 AH.
The department offers its graduates an Associate Degree, which is an intermediate university degree less than the Bachelor degree, but higher than the diploma. The degree allows its holder to work in different public and private sectors. It also allows students to transfer to other PNU colleges according to the regulations in place.
With Allah’s help, the support of PNU management, represented by Dr. Hoda bint Mohamed Al-Ameel, and with the Community College Dean, Dr. Hoda bint Omar Al-Waheebi’s keen selection of prominent faculty members in different specializations, the department has distinguished academic cadres that play a big role in its success, and continue to work with integrity to establish future generations.
May God grant us all success.
