The PNU Students’ Fund, under the Deanship of Students’ Affairs, is important due to its direct affiliation with students’ financial affairs and needs. The Student’s Fund was established according to the regulating statutes of student funds in educational institutions, based on the Council for Higher Education decision number 12/27/1423 in its 27th session on 2/11/1423 AH, endorsed by the approval of His Majesty, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, with royal decree number 7/b/45888, dated 23/11/1423 AH.
The fund maintains financial and administrative independence under the supervision of board that is directly affiliated with the PNU Rector. The Fund seeks to provide scientific, social, and financial stability forregularPNU students, by providing financial support forstudents’activitiesand students’ guidance and counseling programs affiliated withthe Deanship forStudents’ Affairs. It also offers services to the students, including advances, subsidies, loans, and the students’employmentprogram. In addition, the Students’ Fund supervises students’ service centers, such as the bookstore which sells titles at reduced prices, photocopying centers, and food services, such as vending machines.
