Planetree is an international non-profit organization and a pioneer in the field of patient experience. It seeks to assist health facilities to provide distinguished patient-centered care in a safe and stimulating environment for recovery by providing many advisory and educational services in addition to accreditation and certification services.

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital has obtained the Silver Accreditation of the Planetree Organization, as it has been evaluated according to the criteria of the accreditation program since 2018, and the accreditation is renewed every three years as the accreditation journey continues through periodic visits to assess and review the continuity and sustainability of performance quality. This is in the interest of the hospital for its commitment to enhance the patient experience.
