Transfer from a department or a college to another

Transferring from one college to another within the university and from one major to another within the college

(Transferring from one department to another or from one college to another)

Transferring from one major to another within the university:

It is an academic movement that the university put it for the student when she cannot complete her academic career in her major in which she was accepted, for academic reasons or not appropriate to her desire and failure to achieve the conditions at the time of allocation .

 Application dates :

The transfer request is submitted via a link (it is only available in the period specified in the university calendar) on the university's website and no requests will be accepted except through the link.

Transfer controls from one college to another:

1-The student must adhere to the stated transfer dates and no application for transfer will be considered outside the specified period

2-The student has the right to request a transfer after completing a semester (at least) in the major in which she was admitted

3-The student has the right to transfer only once during her university career

4-The comparison between applicants for transfer is made according to the available seats and the conditions of the colleges

5-Sorting is done according to the first desire and then the second according to the inquiry of the conditions

6-When there is no desire to convert except for one desire only, the student must not register the other desires

7- Applications are sorted after the end of the final tests and the cumulative rates are calculated.

8- Applying for a transfer does not mean accepting the application.

9- The student must follow her account to know the activation of the transfer.

10- Passing the personal interview for the majors  that require it.

The equation after the internal transfer between colleges:

1. All the hours taught by the student are included in the GPA.

2. The university requirements (courses shared by all university students, regardless of college) are automatically equated from the academic system, and without the need for a request from the student.

3. The major courses taught by the student in her major  transferred from it are equivalent to the corresponding courses in the major  transferred to it automatically when they are with the same symbol and name, or they are equivalent to the courses in the major transferred to it .

4. The additional and different courses are equivalent to the named as it appears from the university's educational affairs agency.

5. A portion of the hours that are not equivalent to the new  specialty is calculated as optional hours with the same number of optional hours according to the student's transfer program.

6. The transferred student must back to her academic advisor in her new major to follow the equivalence of her courses and register the appropriate courses.

7. The student is fully responsible for completing the graduation requirements, according to the plan in which she was registered in the major she was transferred to.

The regular period:

The student’s study semester in her previous major are calculated from the regular period necessary for graduation.

Honours degree: The failing courses for the student before conversion are calculated when calculating the honors degree.

Rewards: The student’s reward is calculated from the first semester she was admitted to the university, according to the university’s rewards system.
