Place: headquarters of the center for promising research in Social Research and Women's Studies at Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman University - Pavilion “A3" fourth floor
Target group: Faculty members, researchers and interested from inside and outside the university.
Objectives of the Forum:
The aim of this forum is to clarify the role of women's studies in the success of sustainable development programs by:
1- Defining the development objectives related to women,and the importance of their participation to achieve it
2- Emphasizing the importance of studying women's participation in development in support of the social and economic transformations associated with them.
3- Enhancing the cooperation between the university and the official institutions concerned with the development plans.
4- Linking scientific research with community service and meet its needs through a scientific framework that aims at building knowledge that supports sustainable development
Topics of the Forum:
• Development goals related to women.
• The harmonization of developmental goals and women's studies.
Recommendations of the Forum:
- giving attention to women's studies, measuring their participation in development and encouraging studies and researches concerned with women in general and the role of Saudi women in particular. It is worth mentioning that this forum coincided with International Women's Day.
