Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) conducts an (ROI Certificate) Program
​On Sunday, 18/04/1441 AH, PNU, represented by Deanship of Academic Development in cooperation with PNU projects management office and ROI Institute, conducted the second stage of training program (ROI Certificate) for five days, delivered by ROI Center regional manager in Middle East Mr. Nader Beshiny.
During the training course days, the trainer has tackled many aspects as follows:

First Day: The importance of impact tracking and return on investment (ROI) in PNU, in addition to an introduction to stages of ROI methodology.

Second Day: Stage of assessment planning, start with why? Determining business measurements, choosing the optimal solution, expecting findings, preparing the data collection plan and developing the ROI analysis plan.

Third Day: stage of data collection, data collection about reactions and learning information and data collection of application and impact.

‏Fourth Day: results analysis, isolating projects’ effects, converting data to financial values, costs scheduling, ROI calculation and identifying intangible aspects.

Fifth Day: Reports stage, results presentation, results use, presentation of the university projects plans that will be assessed.
Mr. Nader Beshiny, the trainer, tackled twelve steps of the methodology of ROI measurement that aim at improving efficiency and effectiveness of PNU projects and programs, that data collection plan is the main pillar in assessment planning. In addition, the goals of programs and projects must be set to five levels: goals, reactions, learning, application and return on investment.

Prof. Lualuah Al-Ghmedi, vice-reactor for financial and administrative affairs in the Deanship of Academic Development, indicated that the program is rich and important to measure and clarify the benefits that return to the institution from investment and transferring intangible returns to calculated returns with numbers, evidence and percentages.

Prof. Al-Ghamedi added that the trainer`s experience and comprehensive explanation of the program, activities and various applications have significantly helped to deliver theoretical information and the application of projects by trainees.

Eng. Abdullah Al-Zamel, Director of projects management office in the General Department for Information Technology and Communications in the University, argues that the program will achieve its desired objectives due to the trainer`s experience and capability to deliver the material provided for trainees. As well as his keenness on practicing applications after theoretical part, which plays a great role in consolidating information and applying to projects in order to fulfil the objectives and expectations of PNU and nation.

Prof. Mona Labib in Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education indicated the importance of ROI program in university activity to evaluate effectiveness of projects and linking them with PNU strategic plans and objectives, as well as application to actual projects implemented by PNU, which helps measure objectives as to financial values, costs calculation, spending and steps followed in spending.

This cooperation comes within PNU endeavors to achieve its strategic ends represented in adopting training programs in partnerships with global certified institutions to develop leadership skills and human resources in PNU.
