Continuous Grant:

A monthly grant for one semester (five consecutive months).

·        The maximum amount of the Continuous Grant is the monthly stipend amount of the student.

·        The minimum amount of the Continuous Grant is SR 500.

 

Conditions of the Continuous Grant:

·        The student shall be regular student at the time of applying for the grant.

·        The student must be of good conduct and not be subject to disciplinary action.

·        She must have proof of her need for the grant.

·        The student shall not be entitled to apply for continuous grant for a maximum of two times during her university study.

·        The student shall not combine the continuous grant with the university stipend, nor the continuous grant and lump sum grant at the same time.

 

The continuous grant shall be suspended in the following two cases:

·        If the student's relationship with the university ends completely or temporarily by graduation, dismissal, withdrawal or otherwise.

·        If the student does not receive the grant for two consecutive months, unless she submits an acceptable excuse, which is approved by the Chairperson of the Student Fund.

 

Lump Sum Grant:

·        The student is given a one-time payment when needed to cover the necessary expenses, in order to be able to complete her education successfully, and it is paid once.

·        The maximum amount of the lump sum grant is SR 3,000 for Saudi students and SR 2,000 for resident students, except in special cases determined by the Board of Directors of the Student Fund, provided that the amount disbursed to the student during her university study shall not exceed SR 6,000.

·        The minimum amount of the lump sum grant is SR 500.

 

Conditions of the Lump Sum Grant:

·        The student shall be a regular student at the time of applying for the grant.

·        The student must be of good conduct and not be subject to disciplinary action.

·        The grant should be to the student directly and not to support a family member.

·        A minimum of one Hijri year since the date of the last application for a continuous or lump sum previous grant from which the student benefited.

·        The student shall not combine the continuous grant with the lump sum grant at the same time.

·        In the event that a lump sum grant is requested for therapeutic purposes, a medical report must be submitted from a government hospital certified by the University Health Center, proving that it is not possible to obtain treatment in government or university hospitals.

 

Required Documents:

·        Copy of national ID card and family card for Saudi students, and copy of residence permit with passport for non-Saudis.

·        Certificate of regular attendance of the student at the university from the Deanship of Admission and Registration or from the educational affairs office in the student's college.

·        Copy of the study schedule.

·        Fill out the grant application form (which will be treated confidentially) stating the status of the student and the reasons for the application.

Official documents proving and explaining what the student explains about her social status, such as: (housing lease contract - statement of the salary of the father, mother, husband or brother - certified proof of debt - deed of porce and child support - certified medical report - a copy of proof of death of the guardian and others).
