Continuous Allowances
Continuous Allowances:
It is a monthly allowance for one semester (five consecutive months).
1. The maximum amount for the continuous allowance is: the same amount of the monthly remuneration for the student.
2. The minimum amount for the continuous allowance is: 500 SAR.
Conditions for receiving the continuous allowance:
1. The student must be enrolled to study at the University at the time of application.
2. The student must be of good behavior and conduct, and has not undergone any disciplinary penalty.
3. The student must provide proof of needing the allowance.
4. The student shall not apply for this allowance more than two times during her period of study at the University.
5. The student should not combine continuous allowance with the University remuneration or lump sum allowance.
The payments of the Continuous allowances should be suspended in the following two cases:
1. If the student's status was terminated by the University completely or temporarily, whether by graduation, dismissal, withdrawal or otherwise, payment of continuous allowance will be suspended.
2. If the student did not receive the allowance for two consecutive months, unless the student submits an acceptable excuse to be approved by Chairperson of the board, payment of continuous allowance will be suspended 



Lump Sum Allowances:
It is an allowance that is paid to students as a lump sum to cover the necessary expenses that require providing assistance to complete her educational career.
1. The maximum amount of the lump sum allowance is SR 3,000 for Saudi students, while the resident student receives SR 2,000, unless under special cases determined otherwise by the board, provided that such amount does not exceed SR (6000) six thousand Saudi Riyals to be disbursed to the student during her study period at the University.
2. The minimum amount for the lump sum allowance is: 500 SAR.
Conditions for receiving the lump sum allowance:
1. The student must be enrolled to study at the University at the time of application.
2. The student must be of good behavior and conduct, and has not undergone any disciplinary penalty.
3. This allowance is intended for directly assisting the student only and is not intended to help the family.
4. A minimum of one Hijri year has passed since the date of the last request for a lump sum or continuous allowance from which the student benefited.
5. The student should not combine lump sum allowance with continuous allowance.
6. In case lump sum application was for therapeutic purposes, a medical report must be submitted from a government hospital and certified by the University Health Center, as a proof for not obtaining treatment from other public and University hospitals
Documents needed for applying for the allowance:
1. Proof of identity (national ID card, family card, residence permit).
2. Proof of registration and enrollment of current semester from Admissions and Registration Deanship or Academic Affairs of the student’s college.
3. Copy of student’s academic schedule.
4. Fill in the application form in which will be dealt with confidentiality.
5. Official documents that show the students social status such as: (accommodation lease contract-salary letter for father or brother or mother or husband-certified debt certificate-Divorce certificate -Dependent children document- Certified Medical report-Death Report etc).
