Partnership objective:
Achieving a distinguished position in the information and knowledge field locally, regionally and internationally through achieving various partnerships aimed at qualifying specialized national cadres to work in institutions of all kinds, and building a bridge of knowledge partnerships with community institutions. Whereas, Naseej Academy is a non-profit initiative that seeks to support and develop leaders working in the knowledge and academic sector in the Arab world.
The areas of cooperation are, for example:
Training and skill development:
* Training the female students of the College of Arts / Department of Library and Information at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University by the second party to provide them with practical skills in areas related to the nature of the study.
* The second party’s contribution to developing the skills of faculty members at the Faculty of Arts/ Department of Library and Information at Princess Nourah bin Abdulrahman University through professional development activities that are mutually agreed upon.
* The second party’s contribution to training the female employees of the Deanship of Library Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
* Determining the content and schedule for the implementation of each training program later, in coordination between the two parties.
Scientific Research:
* The second party’s contribution to identifying research topics conducted by researchers from the first party, and to the results of evaluating these researches in line with the needs of the labor market.
* Cooperation between the two parties in research projects and events of common interest.
* Supporting the Deanship of Library Affairs in activities of common interest.
Consulting services:
* Informing the first party, as needed, of the experiences of the second party in the projects and advisory services that are carried out within the department in accordance with the rules and regulations in force for both parties.
* Informing the second party, as needed, from the experiences of the faculty members of the first party in the projects and advisory services that are being carried out (in accordance with the rules and regulations in force with the first party).
* The contribution of the first party in meeting the requirements and needs of the second party from the female graduates of the Library and Information Department with distinguished skills as needed and according to the mutual agreement.
