​The Hospitality and Hotel Department of the Community College at Princess Nourah University, in cooperation with the Hilton Worldwide chain of hotels in Riyadh, has recently organized a training workshop entitled "The role of the Hilton as one of the hotel establishments in empowering Saudi women to work in hotel management" at the headquarters of the Community College. The training workshop included two sessions targeting college students and employees in the hospitality and hotel program. As the session tackled the role of the Hilton as one of the hotel establishments in enabling Saudi women to work in hotel management, and in the presence of department representatives from the teaching staff of the college.

The workshop included two sessions that aimed at introducing the vision, mission and tasks of the Hilton Worldwide chain. In addition to its origins and historical development, and providing the trainees with knowledge and concepts about hospitality management, and the advantages that this series provides to its staff. The workshop was concluded with the last session, which dealt with the definition of the concept of empowerment and what Hilton provides with regard to women's work.
