​Community Service Unit

The Community Service Unit, an independent unit in the Dental College at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in collaboration with the Community Dentistry Division, contributes to the control and prevention of oral and dental diseases in the community of Riyadh and also focuses on promoting oral and dental health for both the patient and the community.

The Community Service Unit helps to extend communication between the College and various public and private sectors through providing health and training awareness programs, as well as spreading the culture of social responsibility within and outside the College according to the vision and mission and objectives of the College and the Kingdom at large.

Vision:

To achieve community leadership based on scientific foundations and health practices aimed at promoting health service and raising community awareness about health.

Mission:

Strengthen the link between the College of Dentistry and the community to disseminate the highest level of awareness of oral and dental health.

Community Services Unit Goals:

- To highlight the role of the College in serving the community and linking academic study and community service

- Develop a sense of community and motivation to contribute to community service

- Participation of faculty members in community service activities

- Paying attention to spreading the culture of volunteering to serve the community

- Establish partnerships with various community institutions such as hospitals, schools, factories and community centers, such as the Elderly Home, children with special needs and others

- Communication with the Deanship of Community Service University
