The College of Business and Administration introduces an e-learning and summer training initiative
The College of Business and Administration, represented by the Department of Business Administration, has launched, for two consecutive days, an initiative (e-learning and summer training), on Monday 30/07/1439 AH and Tuesday 01/08/1439 AH, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Business and Administration Dr. Munira Al-Oud and supervised by Ms. Suad Al-Ghamdi. This initiative supports the orientation to improve learning outputs and activate the objective of the college in honing students ’academic and practical skills and taking advantage of the summer vacation to achieve this objective.

"Pearson Company", was one of the most important participants in the initiative, where it presented its summer program for students as a self-learning program to develop the level of students in English language during the summer period, while about 200 students expressed their interest in the program, and their data was recorded.

The students have seen the content of these platforms interactively during the initiative with a detailed explanation for the types of courses and lectures provided by these platforms. While the companies have explained the type of summer training that they offer and its duration and its impact on the student's practical and academic path, and the number of students who submitted their CVs and showed interest in summer training for centers and companies has reached about 1,400 students.

In addition, 200 students were trained over the two days with free training courses provided by some of the participating centers for training and consulting. On the first day, two courses entitled "Advanced Management Skills and Professional Development", and a course entitled "The Missing Link in Personal Inter​view" were presented, and the next day a course on "Multiple Intelligences in the Work Environment" was presented, as well as an offer for the students with a free course in project management.

It is worth noting that this initiative is a unique experience for students to learn the tasks and difficulties and the way to organize initiatives and meetings formally, and how to get feedback from this experience. In addition to learning about how to avoid mistakes and improve the quality of performance and outputs in the coming years.
