Princess Dr. Al-Jawhara bint Fahd bin Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al-Saud

She is the first Rector of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University since the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz's resolution to restructure the University in (1426 AH-2005 AD). She led the major restructuring of the 102 colleges across the Kingdom at that time. She also supervised the laying of the foundation stone of the University campus, which covers an area of more than 8 million square meters. Furthermore, she has established several new colleges and specializations in addition to the restructured colleges according to the requirements of the labor market.

Prior to becoming the Rector of the University, Princess Al-Jawhara bint Fahad served as an Assistant Vice-Secretary for Educational Affairs at the 14th rank at the Girls Colleges Vice-Rector as she mounted the Educational Affairs pision in all girls' colleges in the Kingdom. Prior to that, she was the Dean of the College of Education for Girls in Riyadh and worked as an assistant professor in the Arabic Language and Literature Department at the same college. She also supervised many masters and doctoral theses, and participated in discussion of some of them.

Princess Al-Jawhara bint Fahad holds a bachelor's degree in arts and education, with major in Arabic language and a minor in religious sciences, from the College of Education for Girls in Riyadh (1393/1394 AH). She holds a high diploma in Arabic Language, grammar and morphology specialization, from the College of Education for Girls in Riyadh (1396/1397 AH). She was the first graduate to obtain a master's degree in Arts- Arabic Language Sciences, grammar and morphology specialization, from the College of Education for Girls in Riyadh, and the first graduate to hold a PhD in Arts- Arabic Language Sciences, grammar and morphology specialization, from the College of Education for Girls in Riyadh in 1403 AH.

 ​Her Excellency Dr. Huda bint Mohammed Al-Ameel

She is the second Rector who has served as the Rector of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University since the University's restructuring in 1428 AH.

Dr. Huda bint Mohammed Al-Ameel holds a PhD in Philosophy, Early Childhood Education specialization, from the University of Wales, UK (2002). She also holds two master's degrees in the Department of Education from the University of Western Michigan, USA, one in educational leadership, and the second in early childhood, in (1985-1986) respectively.

Dr. Huda bint Mohammed Al-Ameel headed a group of local and foreign research and studies teams. She designed and presented several training programs and workshops in her specialization as she has also participated with scientific papers in a number of scientific and economic forums and conferences.

Dr. Huda bint Mohammed Al-Ameel was selected as a member of a number of committees and councils in the public and private sectors. She has worked as a consultant for a number of government ministries in the Kingdom. She has many voluntary contributions, most notably the membership of the Board of Trustees of the Princess Sita Bint Abdulaziz Award for Excellence in Social Work, the membership of the Women's Committee in the Emirate of Riyadh city and the membership of the Committee of Child Welfare.

Dr. Huda bint Mohammed Al-Ameel contributed to the establishment of Dar Al Uloom National University before being appointed as the Rector of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, where she then served as Vice-Rector in addition to her tenure as the Dean of the College of Education and Human Development at the same university. Prior to that, she was the Vice-Dean of the College of Education at King Saud University, and before that she was the Deputy of the Department of Education and Kindergartens. She contributed to teaching and supervising the training programs in the Department of Education and Kindergartens at the same university.
