First: Materials accepted for publication

1.The journal publishes original scientific research that adheres to the methodology and steps of scientific research and adds novelty to the major of Art and Design. Research papers can be written in Arabic or in English and shall not have been previously published. If the paper is accepted for publication in the journal, it shall not be published in any other periodical without the written permission of the Editor-in-Chief.

2. The journal publishes translations of papers, readings, book reviews, reports and scientific follow-up on conferences, symposia and academic activities related to their fields of specialization, making sure the gain the approval of the concerned authorities, in accordance with the governing scientific rules.

3. Distinguished innovations and experiences in Art and Design, for the purpose of teaching, exhibition, and/or documentation.

Second: Publication standards

• It shall be a genuinely research paper with integrity of orientation and not have been previously published or accepted for publication by another publishing outlet.
• The research paper shall be written in compliance with the standards of scientific integrity and the ethics of scientific research.
• The research paper shall be linguistically correct, and properly punctuated.
• Cited text shall not exceed 20%.
• All received research papers are subject to a preliminary examination by the editorial board to ensure that the research complies with the journal's rules of publication.
• The research paper is subject to an initial examination by a member of the editorial board specialized in the research field, to determine its eligibility for peer reviewers
• The research submitted for publication is subject to scientific arbitration by experts in the research specialization whose rank is not less than an associate professor, and in case of discrepancy, it is sent to a weighted  peer reviewer.

Third: Rules for research paper submission and content requirements

(1) The researcher sends his/her paper by e-mail or through the journal's website and fills out the related forms on the website. The researcher shall be sent a message confirming receipt of the journal and assigning the paper a reference number, within a maximum of one working week from its date of receipt.

(2) The researcher shall attach a pledge that the research is (new), has not been previously published or accepted for publication in another journal and has not been simultaneously submitted to another party for publication before the end of the peer-reviewing procedures. The researcher agrees to transfer the copyright and authorship rights to the journal after the paper has been approved for publication in its final form.

(3The first page of the research contains the title of the research, the name of the researcher(s), work destination, address, e-mail, and research date. In order to ensure the confidentiality of the arbitration process, the name of the researcher(s) should not be mentioned in the content of the research, or any references that reveal their identity. If the researcher(s) wish to thank those who contributed or helped in the completion of the research It will be on a separate page.

(4) The research title shall not exceed (12) words.

(5) The Arabic summary shall not exceed (150) words, and the English shall not exceed (150) words, as a maximum, each summary shall be on a separate page, followed by five keywords that are not in the title, for each language. The summary shall include the following elements: (objective, importance, methodology, and the most important findings and recommendations).

(6) The submitted research paper shall include the following elements: (an introduction, which first presents the nature of the research, the need there is for it, its rationale and variables, with an integrated literature review, without assigning a subtitle. It shall also include the problem, objectives, questions or hypotheses, the importance and its determinants, theoretical framework, and methodology, including the scientific method, the community and the sample tools and procedures, data analysis or interpretation, presentation and discussion of results and recommendations emanating from them, list of Arab and foreign references). Some of the previous elements can be combined with each other, for clarity, with careful editing of the research paper.  

(7) The number of research paper pages shall not exceed, in any case, (30 pages), including references, tables, figures, appendices, and a maximum of (10 thousand words).

(8) Writing page layout: Page size (A4), with line spacing of (1), margins (2.5 cm minimum) for the top, bottom, and sides of the page, (inclusive of margins, references, circulations, and appendices (.

(9) The font type for the Arabic language is used: (Arial) in size (14) light for the body, and the headlines (14) are dark black, in size (12) light for footnotes, summary and references, and size (10) for tables and figures, and bold for the table's header and comment.

(10) The (Times New Roman) font for the English language is used in size (11) light for the body and dark black for headings, (8) light for footnotes, abstracts and references, (8) light for tables and figures, and dark for the table's header and comment.

11) The numbering of the research pages is in the middle of the page.

(12) If the researcher uses one of the data collection tools, he must submit a complete copy of that tool, as well as attach the entire research materials as appendices to the electronic publication request form, including images with a high resolution of no less than (300) pixels.

• References and sources are documented, both within the research and in the list of references, according to the (APA7) system, the American Psychological Association 7th edition).
