Transportation (TR)

One of Princess Nourah's main goals is to become a university that pioneers greener transportation while also helping students and administrative staff reduce the personal use of cars and motorcycles on campus trips. Therefore, the transportation system policy has been established on campus by providing service buses and trams for students, staff, and visitors to facilitate free rides and also to reduce car use within the university.

Transportation services at the university include: the transfer of university students from their residence around the city of Riyadh to the university, and the transfer of internal housing students and contract professors to hospitals, medical centers and markets close to the university city , in addition to a 24-hour service for emergencies, in addition to transportation.

Shuttle services at the PNU include: Transferring 

students around Riyadh City to the university, transfer

of internal housing students and faculty contracted to 

hospitals, medical centers and markets near the

university, in addition to (24) hours service for

Number of Transportation Initiatives to Decrease Private Vehicles on Campus

Buses have been ensured to move around the university campus and private vehicles have been kept to a minimum.

The bus travels on campus (there are 273 buses that operate at intervals to transport students from booth 2,3,4.




Pedestrian Path Policy on Campus

Some of the measures adopted within the campus are:

1. Separator between vehicle path and pedestrian path.

2. Ramps with suitable design for pedestrian having 

physical disabilities.
