Unit Transportation
Major programs/activities regarding low carbon campus initiatives are currently under transportation within the campus zone, as well as for travel. A unit so-called Transportation is working on the several processes which currently operating for:
- Booking of vehicles for staff traveling.- Services of logistic for staff/student/public.- Training and competencies course related to vehicles.- Data record for the fuel consumption every month.- Inspection of PNU vehicles.
PNU campus sustainability is working closely with the unit in order to assist a few strategies of low carbon implementation, such as:
- Car-free day once a month.- Provide free public transportation to the university community.- Limitation of institutional vehicles that use gasoline as fuel.- Acquisition of vehicles with less carbon emission (electric vehicle - EV).- Evaluation and monitoring of the transport-emission activity.- Planning of the pedestrian zone and allocation of electric vehicle services.
There are (40) electric powered golf carts, which are emissive and serve transportation within the university's facilities.
