Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV) Policy on Campus

Unit Transportation

Major programs/activities regarding low carbon campus initiatives are currently under transportation within the campus zone, as well as for travel. A unit so-called Transportation is working on the several processes which currently operating for:

  • - Booking of vehicles for staff traveling.
    - Services o​f logistic for staff/student/public.
    - Training and competencies course related to vehicles.
    - Data record for the fuel consumption every month.
    - Inspection of PNU vehicles.


PNU campus sustainability is working closely with the unit in order to assist a few strategies of low carbon implementation, such as:

  • - Car-free day once a month.
    - Provide free public transportation to the university community.
    - Limitation of institutional vehicles that use gasoline as fuel.
    - Acquisition of vehicles with less carbon emission (electric vehicle - EV).
    - Evaluation and monitoring of the transport-emission activity.
    - Planning of the pedestrian zone and allocation of electric vehicle services.





There are (40) electric powered golf carts, which are emissive and serve transportation within the university's facilities.​
