​​​In the process of change that the world is going through, the era of green economy appears, it is essential that universities implement recycling as one of the sustainability factors in conserving the environment. Princess Nourah University is no stranger and realizes the importance of treating waste from various activities at the university. For this reason, the University has carried out an effective program that focuses on reducing waste, reusing useful materials and recycling them. Ineffective campus programs tend to generate a lot of waste, require regular maintenance, and costly waste disposal.

The purpose at PNU Wastewater Treatment Plant is to Treat the total raw sewage that will be collected from various university applications, both of suspended solids and biodegradable organic
