​The Planning Department was established by the resolution of Her Excellency the President of the University No. 2613, dated 5/19/1434 AH. The Department is currently associated with the University's Vice Rectorate for Development and Quality. The department aims to manage and circulate the strategic plan to all relevant parties while ensuring the achievement of its primary strategic orientations and objectives, in line with the approved strategies and objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030, educational systems, and contemporary developments locally and internationally. The department also seeks to effectively execute the plan, which is subject an annual quality review:

1.    Planning (analyzing the present and anticipating the future)

2. Implementation (operational plans "performance indicators and strategic plan projects")

3.    Evaluation

4.    Improvement and development

            The department focuses on raising awareness of the importance of strategic planning while emphasizing the need for excellence in academic and administrative performance. This can be achieved through adhering to the department's activities and the dissemination of such information to all departments of the university.

            The department seeks to continually position the university as a beacon of knowledge and values for women according to best practices in strategic planning and management, through its commitment to the following objectives:

·         Enhancing strategic integration inside and outside the university. 

·         Striving for the highest levels of proficiency in regard to strategic planning.

·         Continually improving the efficiency of all processes and management.

·         Supporting the implementation of the strategic plan.

·         Fostering a culture of strategic thinking and planning.
