·        Develop the University’s strategic plan in view of the approved strategies and objectives in line with the Kingdom’s vision as well as contemporary developments of higher education regulation.

·        Review the strategic plan annually and ensure that all its elements are in alignment with several entities according to the latest developments.

·        Issue the operational plan document of the strategic plan for each year, which is concerned with description of indicators, their calculation mechanisms, their source and the targeted values for each year.

·        Develop a unified set of strategic planning models, strategic planning tools and define the timeline for completing these models for each operational year based upon the strategic plan’s operational plan for approval by the entities to proceed with monitoring and follow-up.

·        Review operation of the plan according to university sectors’ presentations for indicators as well as preparing the necessary reports for each period of time (semi-annual).

·        Assist colleges and programs in aligning their plans with the strategic plan of the university.

·        Develop the final presentation of completing the annual operational plan required for strategy of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.

·        Prepare performance reports for university sectors in accomplishing the strategic plan indicators for each year.

·        Raise awareness of importance of the strategic plan and the effective role of all sectors in achieving the same.

·        Provide training for planning specialists in the sectors on planning processes.

·        Participate in the committees concerned with planning activities in the university.

·        Develop periodic reports on Departments’ activities, achievements and its development proposals.
