English language Courses’ exemption policy
Second level’s exemption policy of the second semester for the academic year 1441 AH
Students are exempted from English language courses (102) for the general pathway and (102-2) for the academic pathway if the student submits any of the following certificates or an equivalent in time.

Conditions of applying for an exemption request:
The student can be exempted from second level of English language courses based on her level of performance at one of the recognized international English language tests, including:
• IELTS test (academic pathway with valid certificate).
• IELTS test (general pathway with valid certificate).
• The student can submit an IELTS certificate of an academic pathway to equalize the second level of the general pathway.
• IELTS certificate of general pathway type is not accepted to equalize the second level’s course for academic pathway.
• TOEFL IBT Test.
• STEP Test.
Exemption application’s procedures
• Students who wish to apply for exemption shall go to Station A5, English Language Institute, Building 111, Ground Floor, Office No. (0.309).
• The student has to submit the original copy of the English language test certificate, civil status card or passport and the university ID card.
• The student shall fill exemption request form.
• The submitted certificates are to be investigated by a competent committee, then the student will be informed of the result upon its approval by the competent committee and Deanship of Admission and Registration within two weeks from the date of application’s approval.
Application submission dates for exemption from English language second level’s courses:
• Commencement of applications receipt for exemption from courses (102-2), (102) 24/5/1441 AH corresponding to 19/01/2020 AD.
• Deadline of applications receipt for exemption from courses (102-2), (102) 5/6/1441 AH corresponding to 30/01/2020 AD.
Important Note:
1. The student shall attend the lectures until she is officially notified of her exemption and signs this with knowledge.
2. No application will be considered after the elapse of this period.
