Since the founding of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) in 2006, the Deanship of Library Affairs has been represented in the University Council by the Dean of Library Affairs. The Dean has the authority to represent the university in domestic and international library and information-related affairs and supervises the university's participation in conferences, both domestically and internationally.
