E5ScientificB.Sc. In Biomedical Engineering

Biomedical Engineering serves as an interface between engineering and medicine. This major concentrates on designing and maintaining medical appliances of different categories, to help physicians to get accurate diagnosis of pathological cases and then to prescribe the appropriate medications, contributing to speed recovery and realizing positive results.

Biomedical Engineering combines also biomedical, physiological & engineering sciences, such as: computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. The ultimate objective is to understand the nature of diseases from all aspects, deal with them, and then design appropriate medical and prosthetic devices.

The program qualifies graduates to work in designing, maintaining and developing medical appliances, controlling their quality systems and medical measurement systems.
