The establishment of PNU's Center for Promising Researches in Social Researches and Women Studies is considered a pioneer step in supporting scientific research, which emphasizes the expected role of PNU in supporting the studies related to society, its issues and concerns, especially those related to Saudi women.

It aims at supporting research projects that focuses on the Saudi society. It assigns high priority to supporting studies related to women and their issues, needs, accomplishments and the challenges they face.  That is to present a true view of women in order to contribute to their social and economic participation, promote their developmental role, solve their problems according to a vision derived from the Saudi society and its strong values based on the Islamic principles, the national identity and the Islamic and Arab depth of KSA.

PNU's Center for Promising Researches aspires to carry out its community responsibilities by rising awareness in social researches and women studies. It also aspires to integrate with similar scientific research centers in KSA, and to build a system of scientific partnerships, which will contribute to exchanging local, regional and international expertise and experience.
