English Language Institute in PNU has the privilege to avail CELTA course. We are the pioneers in providing CELTA as the first center to provide CELTA in a governmental university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

CELTA is a world-recognized certificate in teaching English for non-English speakers. It is a must-have certificate for those who aim to join any reputable educational entity in the world.

CELTA candidates should be 18+ and they achieve C1 level in English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). After holding CELTA, the candidate will be authorized to teach English to adults anywhere worldwide.

According to the institute's strategic plan, Cambridge University licensed the institute on March 30, 2023, in cooperation with International House London.

The institute conducted three rounds for CELTA certificate with more than twenty candidates. The institute is looking forward to conducting more rounds in the near future and to avail the course for male candidates as long as female candidates.

The institute also aims to improve the educational behavior of the teachers who are interested in CELTA which be reflected positively in the educational process.
