In addition, from the perspective of the department’s mission, we seek to prepare distinguished women scientifically, professionally and the research in the field of biological sciences to develop the knowledge economy and achieve environmental sustainability. In line with achieving the goals of the College of Science and the University and the vision of the Kingdom 2030. The department shall aspire to be a pioneer in the field of biology, which, Allah willing, will contribute to support the nation and enable the graduate student to compete in the labor market for career opportunities in fields related to biology branches to contribute to the advancement of this proud country.

Since its establishment, the department has been seeking excellence and leadership in the life sciences and anticipating the quality of learning outcomes. The department shall award a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in addition to a degree in Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology. The department is full of highly qualified educational, administrative and technical staff.
