The University Vice-Rectorate represented in the Documents and Archives Center has organized a workshop entitled: “Documents Archives." It aimed to spread and raise documentary awareness among university employees. The first workshop was launched on Tuesday morning, 22/8/1444 AH, 14/3/2023 AD, and will extend until 13/9/1444 AH, 4/42023 AD.
The workshop included many topics, as follows: the purpose of establishing the Documents and Archives Center, the most critical tasks of the Center, stages of a document's lifecycle, documents significance, and the Documents Center procedures that includes; evaluation, destruction, and transfer of electronic documents and archives.

The University Vice-Rectorate represented in the Documents and Archives Center has celebrated International Archives Day, which falls on the ninth of June of each year. The University Vice-Rector presided over the ceremony, and members of the Standing Committee were invited. The Center organized a booth and handed out document archiving procedure manuals and introduction pamphlets about the World Archives Day. The Center displayed its achievements in document preservation and control and its efforts to promote documentary awareness among university employees.
