​1. Managing and developing the strategic plan based on the approved strategies and objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030, educational systems, and contemporary developments locally and internationally.

2. Designing the planning and strategic structure of the University's future policies, objectives, programs and projects.

3. Providing advice and support to the university's academic and administrative departments, through facilitating the preparation of strategic and operational plans, and ensuring that all are in alignment with the university's strategic plan.

4. Supporting development, evaluation and follow-up processes by reviewing the operational plan periodically to ensure the best possible outcome, as well as making the necessary amendments during the period of its implementation.

5.  Supporting university departments in setting annual goals while tracking their progress to achieve desired performance indicators in line with the university's operational plan.

6.  Preparing and issuing periodic reports related to the university's strategic plan and the results of all performance-based analysis.

7. Promoting awareness of the university's strategic plan while emphasizing the importance of strategic planning, as an ongoing process in the university's academic and administrative performance.
